"My son and I had a wonderful two night stay at Hotel Verde! The hotel was exceptional in every way - service, cleanliness, comfort, food, etc!! It was convenient having the beach right across the back yard area, and their indoor/outdoor pool areas were lovely (nice gym too!) I would highly recommend! It is worth noting that I saw mainly adults staying here (not that kids aren’t welcome but it had a more mature, quiet vibe). "

"This property was everything as described in the VRBO ad and more. Location was quiet yet close to everything we needed and everything we wanted to see. The beach was spectacular, warm water and lots of space to spread out and enjoy the sunshine. Would definitely recommend this location and would stay here on our next trip to the Azores. "

"The staff were wonderful. The facilities immaculate. The design in the rooms leaves something to be desired. Very small and dark /odd decor. Very clean, great sleeping conditions. Pools and sauna Devine. Breakfast was perfection. Dinner was inconsistent in quality. One of our best meals and one of our worst. Can’t say enough about the staff. So welcoming friendly and professional ."

"Olive boutique guest house was a wonderful stay. It’s located in a very authentic Azorian fishing village which is well located to explore the entire island. With everything between 10-40 mins away. Maria and Joanna who are in charge of the breakfast are wonderful local women. They greeted us with so much warmth and were more than happy to help give us all their local tips. The breakfast was amazing - freshly cooked eggs to your choice, breads and pastries, fruit, cheeses, hams, fresh juice… everything you could want. Our room was on the third floor and had full ocean views off a balcony, the room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The whole place was stylishly decorated. The place felt safe, was quiet and secure. Self check in and out was super easy. I couldn’t recommend this place more!! Thank you Maria and Joanna for being the true heart of Olive Boutique! "

"Difficile d'avoir une plus belle vue à partir de sa chambre d'hôtel! La chambre est grande, la salle de bain aussi et tout est bien pensé. Il y a un plus très joli balcon pour pouvoir assister au lever du soleil. La salle à manger est également orientée vers la mer. Le petit-déjeuner est varié et très bon. "

"Everything about it was absolutely great. Our unit was spacious, clean and comfortable. The outside facilities as the pools, hot tub were perfect. The private garden couldn't be emphasized enough. What a privilege to stroll through your private forest, so well kept with a river running through it, absolutely magical. The owners are great, very helpful, attentive and super friendly. We will recommend Canto's to anyone we know coming to Sao Miguel."

"Great location - peaceful, tranquil and walkable to the town. Rooms are a little old and could use some upgrades, but was comfortable. They offer towels for going to the thermal pools. Breakfast was standard continental."
