"Okay, Chios is not like Mykonos or Santorini. Fancy clubs and restaurants you'll not find, but Chios has his own casual charm. So, for what I was looking for, Chios is and was great and that counts also for this hotel."

"Location is terrible; there's nothing to do or see around unless you have a car. Shower head was broken but staff told me there was nothing they could do and that I could still take a shower using one hand. They tell you there'S a beach in walking distance, but it's just a rocky sea side where boats are parked."

"Lithoessa Traditional Rooms are delightful in themselves, and in a lovely situation (the walk up the very steep hill from the beach and little shop a very good bonus for the health - no need for a gym!). A lovely uncrowded beach down the hill, a lovely little shop selling everything one needed, and exceptional traditional tavernas right there. Lithoessa far exceeded our expectations."

"Amazing views from balcony, studios set in quiet area within a few steps of all the bars and restaurants. We had the smallest room but this was very comfortable had all the necessary facilities for a very enjoyable stay, would highly recommend Despina studios and will definitely stay again when returning to the wonderful Island of Samos. Hosts are a lovely couple and offered great advice of where to eat & drink."

"We never got to stay at this hotel as our booking was not received by the hotel. The hotel was closed for the season but still on hotels.com. We had to travel to another town and pay for another hotel. The hotel owner could not reach hotels.com by phone and i tried the virtual chat as there are no contact numbers for them. I managed to chat later to an agent virtually and i am still waiting for my refund. The hotel owner has emailed hotels.com to confirm we did not stay there. Not a great...

"excellent cleaning, towels, excellent bathroom, atmospherical small room, no balcony (compared with the price), very close to the center of Myrina. View to the backyard, noisy for this period because of renovation close to the hotel. nice terrace space with great view for all the tenants"
