"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was so private and peaceful. Other than the sound of the odd snowmobile in the distance, we didn’t hear as much as a hint of civilization. The cottage was bright and clean. We loved the wood stove and the outside wood fired sauna. We even managed to dig out the outdoor fire pit for a winter campfire. Lovely private trails as well. "A lovely view, super quiet spot and very well equipped for home cooking. An excellent stay for a lakeside get away. Very friendly and helpful hosts."

"Very big backyard for activities (we brought a lot of our own games), 5 minute walk to the grocery store and LCBO in case you forget anything or need to refuel, and the lake is knee deep for quite a long way so great for kids and adults alike. We would definitely come back!"

"Great location in Callander. Rental unit has all amenities and walking distance close to beach area and restaurants. The rental unit could have been cleaner as we had to sweep and wipe down counter tops."
