Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Loved waking up and seeing the ocean. There were a few hiccups, and the only reason I am saying that is because I want to make sure the owner sees the messages I sent to local manager

The condo was clean but the property was not well kept. Before we saw the condo I was wondering what we got into We had a problem with the lock. I called for help. Spent 20 minutes on the phone but they couldn’t help. They said they would put in a call for urgent assistance. No one ever called me back. Was not impressed

Basically the unit was very nice excapt the air-conditioning. They need fans in bedrooms. The complex is very old and needs maintenance. Would NOT stay here again..

Great Overall Beach Escape from the Pandemic

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1)combination to door did not work - couldn’t get in for 20 minutes+ upon arrival due to being on hold with management company. Problem was eventually resolved; 2) WIFI access provided by management company was incorrect - option given was not available on lists - eventually saw a fridge posting giving correct WIF access info. Problem resolved. 3) Cleanliness of unit: floors were not clean - dust balls visible under tables and furniture, old sock under bedroom dresser; dirt/trash behind bathroom door, countertops in kitchen corners were not clean, dust on all 3 a/c units visible, could barely see through glass sliding door to balcony - I had to wash with soap and water. Problem solved.. Bifold closet doors in 2nd bedroom had been removed and hardware was stuck visible. For some reason a brand new bathroom sink drop in countertop with pull out drawers was inside the closet taking up about 1/3 of the space - appears they never got around to installing it so they stored it in our closet. Good things: Well equipped kitchen, No elevator but no problem...Only 15 steps to contend with - which we wanted instead of elevator due to Covid-19. Great flat screen TV’s in living room and both bedrooms. Very nice decor in living room and master bedroom. Both baths need updating along with kitchen. Warning! Do not run washing machine when someone is taking a shower! Not enough hot water Very close to the beach. Nice pool with lots of chairs. Obviously an order building, but that is not a complaint. Want to say that TurnKey Vacation Rentals were incredibly attentive each time we needed assistance. Polite and incredibly helpful at all times. I indicated below that I would recommend to a friend because I feel TurnKey will resolve the problems we had because I can tell from our experience that they truly want their renters to have the most pleasant, positive experience possible. Thank you!

Going Down Hill

This is our second year staying at this condo. We liked it enough last year to stay in it again this year. I wish we didn’t! We had too many known issues that were not handled before our stay. With what we paid for the rental, we expected more. We read multiple, previous reviews that the door lock/code was broken. This was our first issue. The code given to us before our stay was wrong. Their customer service gave us a 4 digit code for the new lock box they put in place that had a physical key (their solution to a known problem). Well that code was wrong too. Almost an hour of trying to get the door open we got another code and it finally worked. After driving 11 hours this was the last thing we wanted to deal with. Their second lock was a sliding dead bolt which was completely snapped off (another known issue). If you worry about security this place doesn’t have it. Their main door lock is about to give way. The wood that the lock goes into is almost completely torn away. A few good kicks on the door and someone can just come right in. Wish I could add pictures to my review. Every time we left the condo we wondered if our stuff would still be in there when we got back (you are right beside public access to the beach). Our last night the sliding glass door to the balcony was completely broken. The lock busted and we couldn’t get in or out the door. We had to use the second balcony door in the bedroom to access the balcony (another known issue). If you need high quality WiFi then stay away. They give you the WiFi name and password in an email before your stay and it’s also posted though out the condo. Well their wifi doesn’t exist in the condo. We had to use the main buildings wifi that was not secure and very, very weak if it worked at all. It was very spotty due to the location of their setup. We found a few dead cockroaches covered in dust though out the condo. Most of the condo was well cleaned I will add. Just don’t look in the corners, inside the pullout couch, or under the beds. DO NOT LOOK UNDER THE BEDS! Don’t advertise that laundry soap is provided. They left us one pack of laundry soap which we had to use on the towels they left in the washer before our stay. I don’t enjoy rewashing someone else’s laundry. Now to the good! The location is amazing along with the views and easy access to the beach being on the first floor. The condo is very nicely decorated. There is a reason we stayed there a second time! Parking is super easy and always had at least two open spaces for us to park. You are not far from main attractions but the condo location is quiet and not crazy busy. The pool was super nice and not crowded. Overall, I think we will try somewhere new next year. If they can get their known issues resolved then it’s definitely worth checking out.

Great location

Easy access to restaurants, beach and main highway. Few maintenance problems, but considering the hurricane that recently came thru our concerns were quickly met.

Location was great, check in was a nightmare

Arrived unable to get the keypad to work and the number provided in text and email was not taking any call even after multiple attempt. The sickening feeling of being scammed was starting g to sink in. After eventually finding a web page with other numbers across the country (SC number still not taking calls) I was able to reach someone through an AZ number. After 30 minutes and several failed attempts to send us another code via text, I saw there was a lock box on the doorframe that looked like it held a key. The cs rep was able to find that code and we were able to finally open the door that way. After this rocky start, our stay went pretty smooth. Very disappointed the general number to call with issues never worked though through Vacasa.

From checkin to cleanliness to receiving a call back or email regarding the issue I had everything was horrible! I will never stay with Vacasa or Vrbo again! I had valid issues I needed addressed and they fell on deaf ears. Completely unacceptable!!

I did this as a getaway for a week, for a change of scenery. It was great! My only complaints are 1) the lock was difficult to open and close. The latch across the door was also broken and didn’t initially make me feel safe. 2) It’s not very well lit outside the door. If there were a safety threat, I would be concerned about the darkness as well as the difficulty opening/ locking the door.

Great stay for 2 couples

Tastefully decorated, very clean, and we’ll equipped. Perfect place to stay for 2 couples as we had an outing at The Alabama Theater. Waking up to the sound of crashing waves and breakfast with a spectacular view is hard to beat.

Great place

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was great. My only problem was the AC units were loud. The one for the living room vented onto the balcony, making seating difficult without having hot vented air blowing on you as well as drowning out the sound of the water. The balcony off the main bedroom was barely enough to stand on and the AC unit for the main bedroom blocked the path to the seating area on the balcony.
