This is a great location for a sunset shoot contrasting fish farms in rural Hong Kong with the built up city of Shenzhen.

To get there you can take the 76K bus from either Yuen Long of Sheung Shui, get off at Ho Sheung Heung then take the green mini bus 51B from around the corner to Ma Tso Lung Shun Yee San Tsuen. From there it's a 150m hike up the old road to the former police post. The best spot is a hill just to the north of the police post.

"Let me start with the good points: 1) hotel is clean; 2) You feel safe in an otherwise sketchy building; 3) shower works well. Now the problems: 1) they don't take credit cards - only cash; 2) bed and pillows are ROCK hard - almost like sleeping on the floor; 3) room is very small and there is no desk to work at.
