"While we had a good night at this property, and the kitchen and common area were great, the place was not particularly clean, there was only one bathroom for 12 beds and the room and bathroom door locks were not functional. We did not know which room was ours and had to figure that out by finding someone who could tell us. It seemed that not all of the work was finished to get this property ready to use. That said, it was peaceful, quiet and calm. "

"Eva and Rob’s place was beautiful, clean and spacious. We had a very warm welcome and were even greeted with a gift basket and toys for our dogs! The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfy and the view was gorgeous. Our pups loved the nearby trails too. My friends and I will be coming back in the future. "We went on a spur of the moment cycling trip to Salt Spring Island. The hills were tough but at the end of that error in judgment was the gem that is Hummingbird B&B. "I am in BC for work and had to stay over the weekend so I took the ferry from Horseshoe Inlet to Nanaimo. The ferry is easy and an enjoyable ride. The Savvy Seagull was a great place to stay. Very clean and the fireplace made it feel very comfortable in early Spring. Ray was very helpful and accommodating to my late check in. Thanks for everything!"

"The neighborhood is lovely with beautiful, large homes with a peek of the bay. The space Brian has created feels just like home. Nice decor and touches throughout. We're happy we chose this property after looking at several choices. It was just a few minutes drive to Departure Bay to catch the ferry to Vancouver."

"This cozy trailer is on the owners property adjacent to the river. Many forest walks await with the provincial park nearby. If you are looking for a quiet location to recharge your batteries this is it. The bed was super comfy, bbq worked well and propane heater in the trailer worked well. Only thing lacking is wifi if you need it. Unplug and enjoy. You won’t regret it!"
