"We loved our stay here. The staff were exceptionally helpful and cheerful. We had a balcony room with a lovely view to the harbour. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The only small issue we had was that the taps were a hard to turn on and off in our room. Great selection for breakfast and dinner."

Large comfy bed, bath robes, bottled water and teabag’s etc. Shower grouting could do with a clean but good pressure. Very shallow washbasin which splashed you when the taps turned on if you’re not aware of it. Would definitely stay again."

"Staff were really friendly but there was no property owned parking so had to park across the road in a public car park. The bed was large and comfortable with good quality linen. We were given a special access room on the ground floor but we were looking forward to a bath in the room which is what I thought we had booked but not a major issue but if you are booking you may want to make them aware if you want a bath rather than wet room. "All the staff at the Anglers Arms were lovely, they couldn’t do enough for you. All the food we had (3 breakfasts &. 1 dinner) was very good. The hotel is in need of some modernisation but we know that Joanne and the team are working on this, given a little time they will get everything right but in the meantime it is still a good place to stay and excellent value."
