"Reception seem to be under staffed at peck check in time. three staff members standing in the bar , two valet, one reception ? Breakfast was a shambles...lip stick on coffee cups, old and dirty crockery on the buffet, we sat ourselves after the supervisor left us standing at the counter, only to be told to move as they had promised the table to some one else. The table me got moved to had no cutlery and was dirty. When i got up to find some cutlery i asked a server only to be told " just get it yourself" pointing to a pile of cutlery that had just arrived from the kitchen. It was a busy morning, but surly then knew it was coming. The staff seem to be over whelmed and not particularly worried about the mess. There was no leadership from the shift manager. All in all a pretty poor showing."

"Before you even arrive the staff are lovely and helpful. Check in was a breeze, greeted with a smile and an unexpected upgrade. Up to the 19th floor with magnificent views of the harbour. The room was spacious and welcoming. Usual minibar and coffee pods. WiFi worked fine and the TV had many stations to watch. There was a bath and separate rain/wall shower. The soap was Kiwi Seed and Lavender, and the body lotion was impeccable. The art work on the walls show cased real kiwi classics. The Bee Hive painting in the corridor was masterful, worth its own gallery showing. The hotel sits beside the SkyBus start point, 30 odd minutes and you're at the airport. Will we stay again? Yeah, next trip up for sure."
