"Wonderful house for a summer family get together. We've done it twice, with 12 people. House is comfortable and nicely furnished, with beautiful surroundings. Lots of activities within a short drive. Great selection of family games. A highlight: watching a mother bear and 3 cubs play in the meadow."

"My son and I stayed here for the Overland Gravel race and trail run. Everything about the space was pretty much as expected. We made dinner on the grill and sat outside between races and had a great salmon and grilled peppers dinner. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was basically equipped and had everything we needed. Best thing about the place for us though was, undoubtedly, the goats. We spent serious time just hanging out with the four of them and rubbing their heads. Such a pleasant distraction.This area is quite beautiful. Had an awesome post dinner walk down the street. The Xanadu farm made me appreciate some of the simpler things in life."

"The historic property was beautifully landscaped and maintained from the front lawn and parking to the features in the back yard, including short shaded woodland trails. The interior of the historic home was lovely, clean, and welcoming with ample seating and window views, tea, coffee, etc., and snacks. The most comforting aspect of our stay was the hostess, sharing the history of the property and former owners, and offering a tour. The hostess and staff were sincere, kind and so helpful! I intend to stay at this place again!"

"The check-in/check out process was streamlined and simple. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for meal preparation. The house was quite comfortable and had several areas to relax and play games. Our host Matt was very attentive and responded to any inquires we had very quickly. The house overall was very clean and had more than enough room for the eight of us. I would very much recommend staying at this property to anyone considering travel to the Cavendish, VT area. Our family would definitely stay here again when traveling to Vermont. Kudos to the Kapulunas."
