Abandoned Barrow Snow on the roads, you get abandoned cars. Snow on a footpath, you get abandoned wheelbarrows. Logical, really. This is the Ridgeway Path just north of North Stoke.

Nice hotel but the room was a little tired with signs of wear and damage. The heating wasn't working and I had to advise reception who left a portable heater in the room. It's surprising how often this happens in other hotels, not just here, and suggests a lack of maintenance.
