Top Northern California Hotel Reviews
Claremont Resort & Club
8/10 Good
"It’s always amazing there!"
Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay
10/10 Excellent
"The staff are incredible ( first and foremost)! They have made every effort to make me feel welcomed. The hotel is very centrally located and overall, is a lovely property with a nice restaurant and coffee shop right in the building! The only downside is that the building itself might be due for restoration and rooms to be a be spruced up. Nonetheless, I plan to be back!"
Wild Palms, a JdV by Hyatt Hotel

Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa

Carmel Mission Inn
10/10 Excellent
"The only complaint I have is that the HVAC/fan system in the room is a bit outdated. There is not a setting to allow the fan to operate continuously providing air flow; it shuts off when the thermostat temperature is reached. The property is very conveniently located and the restaurant and hotel staff were wonderful!"
Handlery Union Square Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We were so lucky to choose the Handlery Hotel on our first visit to San Francisco. The location was perfect! Down the road from every kind of transit & most importantly, steps from the Nintendo Store! We had a two queen suite & to our surprise a sliding glass door that revealed a beautiful view of the city. Not quite a balcony, but very close & we loved it so much. There was even a vanity which came in handy with teenage girls. The hotel itself had two sections and we were in the Premier section. There was two flights of stairs to take with all our luggage & a vintage elevator that no one could figure out how to use, so up the stairs we went. At least at the top we got to walk by the heated, outdoor pool. We didn’t have time to enjoy it, but we saw other guests having a great time. The staff were friendly and polite and brought up extra amenities quickly when asked. We would 100% stay at this hotel again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay - convenient location, helpful staff, great breakfast, and rooms were promptly cleaned and restocked each day!"
Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Elite class resort. From the valet parking, to the bell service, to the housekeeping staff. Everything was top notch here. The rooms are gorgeous….spend a little extra for an ocean view. Restaurants are amazing and there’s even a complimentary bike rental for guests. I will definitely be back"
Outbound Mammoth
10/10 Excellent
"Clean place … pool area well kept for some relaxation. The lobby is vintage and great. Walking distance to nice restaurants and Leslie up front is a fountain of useful information and tips. I’ll be back !"
