Top Northern California Hotel Reviews
Club Quarters Hotel in San Francisco
10/10 Excellent
"Great location. AC plus a gym made it perfect for me. Very friendly staff."
Chancellor Hotel on Union Square
10/10 Excellent
"This is a hidden gem! We were somewhat leery booking this property because the price was $150 for the night. What we experienced was a great boutique style hotel. The room was smaller but had a large walk in closet, which you don’t see in hotels. This allowed us to put luggage in there and made the room feel bigger. Highly recommend staying here!"
Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf
10/10 Excellent
"All staff were friendly & helpful. While booking reservation I had requested adjoining rooms. Our flight arrival was early AM so I inquired if early check-in was possible & the additional charge. A wonderful benefit provided is the hotel securely storing your luggage until check in. We were able to go exploring without dragging our luggage with us. Front desk staff always very friendly & helpful. We were happily able to check in a bit earlier than 1500 thanks to desk staff!! Breakfast was great! I love that it’s available especially with growing boys. Impressive how well organized & quickly they dealt with such a large groups of people. Loved the seating by the fire. Unfortunately I wish the seating could be arranged differently. Many times 1 person would take up the entire couch- making it difficult for families. Rooms were very clean & well stocked. Proximity to Fisherman’s Wharf a plus. I would highly recommend & would stay there again!"
Handlery Union Square Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This was not our first trip here and the staff knew that and welcomed us back! The room was a nice size, clean and had everything we needed ... including a quiet side of the hotel. Comfy beds, all the amenities we needed - perfect friends' trip weekend."
Hilton San Francisco Union Square
8/10 Good
"Very nice staff. Good drinks in the lobby bar. Parking, self and valet, were very expensive. Pool only open until 9pm. We reserved a 2 queen room with city view and ended up in an accessible room with 2 doubles, felt like a large twin, and staring at a wall out our window! The beds were very uncomfortable. Appreciated when we requested towels they were brought up in a timely manner."
The Monterey Hotel
8/10 Good
"There is the updated side of the building and historic side. We had a room in the historic side and it was a charming room. If you would love to stay in a historic hotel. This is the spot."
The Marina Inn on San Francisco Bay
10/10 Excellent
"A very clean hotel on San Francisco bay. The staff is very friendly and kind. I have stayed there several times over the last 10 years. We love the cookies in the evening and continental breakfast in the morning. The have free bike rentals also."
