"We chose the hotel and paid a premium price as the Village Hotel groups have excellent facilities such as pool, sauna, jacuzzi available at low additional costs.
However. this Village Hotel in Edinburgh has a maintenance issue with their pool and it was closed, and there was nothing to advise the public on the booking platform that for the dates we chose this was the case."
"We like staying at Village, the staff here were really helpful and friendly. The pool and facilities were excellent and kept spotless. The food was good and served quickly by staff happy to go the extra mile.
Just small niggles prevented me from going 5star, a used towel left in my room, the sink plug didn't operate smoothly, the coffee machine wouldn't deliver coffee.
A real shame...even so we'll probably go back in the future."
"Great room, very walkable area, lots of hotel amenities. Only downfall is if you decide to eat at the restaurant downstairs they tend to be out of a lot of items if you are having a later dinner."
