"The welcome from Imi on reception started our stay, he was so engaging and helpful and a credit to the hotel. Our room was clean and served us well. The only thing we needed and not provided in the rooms was body lotion although interestingly it is in the public bathrooms. The restaurant in the golf club building was very nice. Our server Amber was again a credit to the hotel and gave great service. The food was plentiful and an excellent quality and taste. Our friend with a dairy intolerance was well catered for. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety of continental and full English options. The hotel is close to lots of places to visit making it an ideal place to stay to explore."

"Excellent service and facilities, from start to finish. Free little gifts and water bottles to keep hydrated were a lovely and much appreciated surprise. The evening meal (lamb with side of creamed leeks & brocolli) and mocktail were amazing, probably the best ever. Car park was not entirely clear, but worked out in the end, except for there were no electric charging points free, in either of the hotel or adjacent council car parks."

"The hotel was great with excellent service from all of the staff. Rooms were clean and roomy. We ate the breakfast buffet which was ok, but it may be that some of the options were not necessarily what we would like to eat. Would rather have more pastry options to choose from as it seemed very limited. Food in bar was excellent. Would definitely stay again."

"Lovely hotel to base yourself for peppa pig world. The pool was a bonus on arrival while waiting for dinner time. Changing facilities could have been cleaner, especially the floor. Breakfast had good choice. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Black out curtains helped with toddlers sleeping."

"Hotel full of character, undergoing renovation in places but improvements have been made since we were last there. Dinner service was very good and if the weather’s nice it has a lovely patio area out back for dinner and a drink. Shame the pool was closed though."
