The Perfect Adirondack Getaway Cabin -Hike! Swim! Bike! Fish! Ski! Relax!

YOU MUST BE 25 YEARS OLD TO BOOK
Our waterfront cabin is a fully modern four season retreat with everything that you need for a great stay! We have a perfect location with AMAZING close up river and mountain views from most windows!
Walk out the front door and you can fish, swim, float, bike, hike or just relax in an Adirondack chair in front of the Sacandaga River. Sit out on the deck and watch the eagles and osprey dive for fish! Walk five minutes to the left and see the nearby waterfalls! Our home is located on the Sacandaga River, at the tip of the Great Sacandaga Lake, where you can also spend a day on the water. The quaint town of Northville is a 5 minute drive and has many restaurants and shops. We are conveniently located next to the Adirondack Park and the Northville-Placid trail for great hiking. This unique vacation home is also a great winter getaway. Just minutes away from Lapland Lake for XC-skiing and close to Gore, Royal, and Oak Mountains for downhill skiing or snow tubing! The house is located between 2 lakes for ice-fishing and snowmobiling. It is only a 45 minute drive from Lake George and Saratoga Racetrack.
This is a pretty wood home that brings the Adirondack feel to your living space.
In the winter you will love to warm up in front of the remote controlled gas stove! Or try our heated double jacuzzi after a day on the slopes! On the first floor there is an open concept fully equipped kitchen and living room. There is also a master bedroom and a large bath with indoor hot tub/ jacuzzi and laundry.
Outside there is a large front deck and a screened in porch.
Upstairs are 2 more bedrooms and another half bath.
You will find that the house is well appointed with everything that you need. You won't need bottled water here! Our water comes from a deep drilled well and is double filtered for taste and purity. It has also been tested by the state of NY.
You can rest assured that our cabin is super clean and completely sanitized. Your safety and well being is our top priority and we have implemented extra measures to ensure that all surfaces in the cabin have been sanitized. Every doorknob and cabinet has been wiped and sprayed. Linens are sanitized in the washer too! All dishes are sanitized too! Read our reviews! We are very serous about cleanliness!

Great place- cozy and clean! River was low so we couldn’t kayak or float on it but went to Northampton Beach as recommended by owner! Beautiful beach! Place does not have foil, plastic wrap or much for storage not many spices or condiments so plan accordingly. Everything else was great! Also be aware, as I missed, they charge extra for more than 2 people.

What a beautiful home this is! It was perfect for us. The Adirondack decor was awesome, the house was immaculate, the view was serene, and the deck was amazing. The screened in porch was a great perk! One of the nicest properties we’ve stayed at. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Loved every minute at the cabin!

Just got back from an amazing stay at the cabin and I’m already missing it! The place was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Loved waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature and enjoying the quiet surroundings. The hosts were super responsive and made everything easy. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug and recharge!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. The location on the river was beautiful and our kids did not hesitate to jump in and wade in the river as soon as we arrived. We took advantage of the beautiful surroundings and did several hikes in the area. Our first morning we walked just down the road to see the cute waterfall. The location of the cabin is great. The town of Northville is close by and has several places to eat and some stores for any necessities you may have forgotten. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed making dinner one night and having leisurely breakfasts each morning. Sipping our coffee and tea out on the screened in porch was the best part of everyday. The sound of the river flowing by is so relaxing. We spent the first part of our week hopping from hotel to hotel as we toured colleges in the region, so coming to the cabin for a few days at the end of the week was so welcomed. It really was a wonderful way to relax and recharge in beautiful surroundings.

Perfect Adirondack Relaxation

If we could give this property more than 5 stars, we would. We only rated "contact with property manager" 1 star because we never had to contact the property manager. Everything was wonderfully cozy and immaculately clean. The area was quiet and the views magnificent!

Winter Skiing Get-a-Way

We spent 3 nights and 4 days in this absolutely adorable cabin with gorgeous views of the river and lake. The pictures in the listing do not do the cabin justice - it's even more beautiful than it looks in the pics. We were 6 adults and it was super comfortable for all of us, even after two long days of cross country skiing. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom had all the amenities we needed with lots of towels. The shower was really good! We would love to find a time to come back!

Beautiful Setting Sun or Snow

We very much enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin. We were belted with 6 inches of snow the day after arrival, which was beautiful. Thankfully, the owners left very detailed and well thought out instructions to not park under the roof overhang. If I wouldn't have known, our car would have been buried in a couple feet of snow a day later when all of the snow slid off the roof. The cabin is well equipped with top notch appliances, very comfortable beds and all of the meal preparation related items you could need. It was probably the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Best little getaway!

This was exactly what we were looking for when we were planning a weekend away. It is 10 minutes driving distance from the little town, which has a Stewarts, restaurant, Chinese food, pizza place, and a Tops. The atmosphere was so peaceful, right on the water with a beautiful view. We spent a lot of time around the fire pit just listening to nature - would definitely visit again!

Great Adirondack House

We loved our stay at this fantastic Northville House. It is a warm and cozy place with a wonderful screened in porch and a fantastic deck overlooking the Scanadaga River. The Kitchen provided everything one needs to create great meals. The living room has very comfortable chairs and couch with a good size tv that connects to any of the streaming platform. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are so comfortable. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get away in comfort in the midst of beauty

The entire stay was perfection. I have stayed at 4 star hotels, in Europe, Disney more times than I can count...I have NEVER enjoyed a stay more! The quiet, the views, the attention to detail was superlative. We can not wait to come back for another stay.

Amazing Weekend

Had an amazing weekend celebrating my father’s retirement. The house was amazing, gorgeous views and the sound of the river flowing was so peaceful. While this was my first time renting a home, my father and brother have a lot of experience, they both said it was their favorite stay. They loved the notes displayed throughout the house giving detailed instructions and information about the home. The large binder filled with information was amazing we read through it and used the information inside to rent a boat for the day, had an amazing time on the lake fishing and soaking in the sights. It was an amazing weekend spent with family in an amazing home. Thank you so much for a great weekend!

Beautiful location - Wonderful homeowners

This property was the perfect get away location for our group of friends looking for rest and relaxation. We happened to visit during the biggest snowfall of the winter and watching the snow come down with the beautiful river in the background was so very peaceful. The property itself is immaculate. The beds are very comfortable. The woodstove is a charming touch. The property owners communication was fantastic. We were concerned about snow removal given the situation but the owners ensured that things were covered in a timely manner. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property.

Fantastic getaway

The property looked amazing on the VRBO site - but was even better in real life! We loved relaxing in the house while enjoying the beautiful view of the river. The house was clean, warm and homey and was very well equipped. There were many options for beautiful hikes in the vicinity but our favorite was hiking on the road along the river. We would highly recommend this house and fully intend on returning.

Perfect getaway!

Our experience at Bjorn and Sharon’s cabin has been wonderful. Everything was spotless and prepared for us to have the best time. The hosts’ have been very hospitable from the beginning to the very end. They were very generous to share ideas with us for activities to do in the area. There was a weather alert in the area and Bjorn kindly texted us to ensure we were informed. The cabin is well stocked with all utensils for cooking. You will also find books to get yourself educated about the surroundings, different trail routes and history of the area. What is not to like at Bjorn and Sharon’s cabin! We would love to come back! Feeling very grateful for them to share this gem in such gorgeous part of the world! Thank you!

Loved drinking coffee in the morning by the running river. Property was pristine, adored my visit.

Lovely riverfront cabin.

We just wanted to get away for a few days and this was an excellent choice. Super quiet area right across the street from the river. House was very comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed with everything anyone would need. We would definitely stay here again!
