Sleeping 5 in 3 bedrooms, Bar Lane Cottage is a wonderful period cottage set just a short stroll from the vibrant centre of Reepham. Imagine an inglenook fireplace with wood burner, exposed beams and a large private garden overlooking the local countryside. A perfect retreat for families and groups looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The property is stylishly designed with comfort in mind and offers a wonderfully sized open plan kitchen and living space. There is a small sun room which leads out to the private garden, perfect for relaxing in after a long day of exploring. Bar Lane Cottage is ideal for those wanting to explore the Norfolk coast and rural countryside whilst being close to shops and eateries.
Ground Floor
Enter through the front door into a small porch area where there is space for coats and boots. Opposite is a downstairs bathroom with WC and washbasin.
From the porch open the door into the large open plan kitchen/diner/lounge. The kitchen offers views into the mature and private garden and supplies an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is seating for 5 in the dining area and a large, comfortable sofa and chair in the large living space. The living area boasts a beautiful inglenook fireplace with wood burner as well as exposed beams and access to a sun room with patio doors leading into the garden.
Beyond the living area is a well equipped utility with iron and ironing board, butler sink, washing machine, eco friendly products, baskets and clothes drying facilities. There is a fire exit door into a shared courtyard which the owners ask not to be used other than in emergencies.
From the living area head up the winding staircase to the first floor.
First Floor
Bedroom 1 boasts a king size bed with tranquil views over the garden and beyond fields. There is a dresser, large built in wardrobe and bedside cabinets.
Bedroom 2 not only boasts a king size bed but also a period cottage fireplace and brickwork. It also offers wonderful views over the garden and surrounding countryside. There is a dresser and bedside cabinets for storage.
Opposite bedroom 2 is the family bathroom which provides a bath, walk in shower, WC and washbasin.
Bedroom 3 offers a single bed, courtyard views, a large walk in wardrobe, dresser and bedside cabinets.
Outside
Approach the property via the driveway which allows for up to 3 cars.
There is a large, private garden with patio furniture which can also be accessed through the sun room.
