"I arrived early, but was checked-in immediately, being given a ground floor (windows onto the pavement) flat. The first issue that I noticed was that there was a dehumidifier in the bedroom with a "Do Not Switch Off" sign, and mold around the window sill. I was told that this could be switched off (too noisy for me to sleep), but they'd rather that it wasn't!
A bigger issue was the stench coming from the kitchen sink, which was overpowering when the cabinet beneath it was opened. Again, there was mold. I failed to complain, or ask to move at this point - a mistake. On my check-out morning, there was no hot water.
Otherwise, the finish and maintenance of the flat were all quite bodged, e.g. flooring gaps, bedroom door wouldn't close without excessive force (appeared moisture damaged), bathroom sink tap loose, heavy bath sealant, entry door gaps.
I don't know if this flat (3) is representative of the others - I hope not. The location is good, as is having a washing machine, microwave, and oven."
