"It's a nice place to experience the traditional Japanese living house. It's good to have 3 sizable beds for 3 persons. The room is clean and quite spacious. Shopping areas, good restaurants, convenience store and metro station can be found in a few minutes walking distance from the house. "

They even refunded our last day stay without asking as we had to leave a day earlier due to approaching typhoon.We arrived at midnight by train and the manager met us on site to welcome us and explain everything. Having a washer and dryer in one machine on site saved us! We would do a load of laundry every night and in the morning have clean clothes. Saved a lot of time...

"Great host and communication. The house is cozy and it had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great in the Japanese heatwave. In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes. However, everything around there closes quite early and becomes really quiet - so be aware if it’s not your vibe. Not a big deal for me, though. "Nice traditional style Japanese house. Not super far from Kyoto station. Very nice shower/bath area. Futons were very thin and not much cushioning. Overall a pleasant stay "

"The house was great and in perfect condition. Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful. Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. The guy who gave us the keys told us it is being fixed, which is fine but we would have prefered to know beforehand as we were very excited about it. "
