"Beautiful area. Cottage was very clean but upon arrival the cottage was extremely cold and took hours to warm up with the electric baseboard heating. There were no blind/curtains in one bedroom so it was very bright, early in the morning. We would return again but probably during a warmer time of year."

We were disappointed that the canoes were not available to guests until June, although there is no mention of this in the posting. There was 1 pedalo shared amongst the cabins which we made use of. Lac Noir is lovely to travel around and swim in. The owners were responsive when needed during our stay."

The space is great for a family of 4, the kitchen is well equipped and there are games, boats, lots of good reading spots, out- and indoor fire place with lots of wood and even a TV. "Everything was great inside but the outside looked neglected... the grass was long, the BBQ and utensils were really dirty, the deck and outside stairs need repairs and there should be a fence/ gate around the pool to be safe..."

It had everything in the kitchen. There are 8 chalets so this would also be great for a family reunion or a group of friends looking for a get away. There are canoes, kayaks and SUPs for rent. There are lots of stairs to get to the water, but once you are there, the water is very clean and warm, not too much boat traffic either so...
