OK Stay. Let down by management company.

The location is good and most of the amenities are good at the location; unfortunately as a self catering property, there are a few downsides. Insufficient amount of cookware if staying for a some time (stayed for a week, only one cooking pan, no can opener etc..) Some of the curtains do not close properly, some of the electrical fittings are loose (dangling main light, light switches loose) High ceilings, but not dusted well (quite a few cobwebs). Poor communication by management company.

Good value, with some room for improvement.

Nicely appointed apartment with everything you need while away from home. Cleanliness was good but could have been slightly better - apartment has high ceilings and there were visible cobwebs, some black staining or grout in en suite shower. Sofa bed handy for additional guests, but directly under a ground floor level window without curtains which made my daughter uncomfortable sleeping there so she slept on the sofa instead - perhaps the host would consider adding a curtain to this window, or a blind for privacy when sleeping. Bed in main room very comfortable. Extractor fan in main bathroom very loud, and mirror light not working, so had to turn on main light (and loud fan that takes time to stop) if needing the loo... We all opted to use the non en suite bathroom at night to avoid waking each other up with the fan. It seemed like the property above had a similar fan, as we kept being woken by whirring sounds above us all night, and resorted to buying earplugs to sleep. These are all minor niggles though. Property has ample car parking space, is a mere 4 minute walk from a convenience store and a pharmacy, and a ten minute walk from a supermarket. Bus stops are close by and its a very short drive to the city centre. WiFi very good (important when you have a teen) and very light and spacious. I'd be happy to stay again next time I visit Nottingham
