"We really enjoyed our stay here - it's a beautiful setting high up in the hills. I would recommend having a car, however, as we had to walk a fair bit to get to any shops or restaurants (besides the lovely pizzeria by the apartments, which wasn't always open). Lovely pool! Spacious apartment, but it wasn't cleaned once during our 5 days there. Kitchenette but limited utensils (e.g. no bowls, no cups). Besides this it was a lovely place which we enjoyed staying in at the start of our holiday"

"Talé was a sanctuary for us!! Spectacular views and so peaceful! We absolutely loved our stay here, probably our most memorable stay during our 2.5 week vacation in Sicily. Super close to Mount Etna for excursions or hikes. Also close to the small town of Piedemonte Etneo which was so charming and we found some great local dining spots. "Lovely place, lovely grounds, nice breakfast, very convenient for places like Taormina. The only slight issue we had was that we were looking forward to having dinner in their restaurant, where much of the food cooked would come from the farm itself, but they stop opening in the evenings from 20th October until April - we arrived 22nd October! Shame, and it would have been useful if this was advertised - they do still provide lunches at weekends though, in the off-season."

"This property was pretty much what we expected. It was very difficult to find, though, as both Apple Maps and Google Maps have imprecise locations. Also, the signage for the hotel does not match the name on Expedia. Look for PowerGym, and you will find it much easier. Staff was very helpful and accommodating."

"This hotel offers all the benefits of a private villa yet the perks of a five-star hotel. It will soon have a Relais et Chateau boutique rating we are sure! Its location near Taormina yet higher up in the mountains means that you are very near many of the must sees of Sicily and learn a lot about the unique geology and history of the area. "We spent an idyllic week at Residence Terra Rossa in April. We found the landscaped gardens inside the gated property to be delightfully peaceful with beautiful views of the coast below. The manager was extremely helpful with directions and information ahead of our arrival, making our late evening arrival and self check-in very smooth and stress free.
