"Loved Hotel Matts so much! Highly recommend. Stayed in the Apartment side and it was wonderful, so spacious, so quiet, but also felt like home because you have a kitchen and laundry. The room was spotless, staff was lovely, and the on site restaurant Freja was so amazing. We ate there almost every night our last week and it was consistently so good. The apartment side is like having an Airbnb but much better because you get the perks of staying in a hotel, like 24 hour staff, onsite restaurant, and sauna. I extended my stay multiple times, and each time, the staff had my keys ready to go with a smile. It was really nice because in most hotels there's always a huge disconnect with extending the room, so I greatly appreciated their efforts. They even left a handwritten birthday card for me in my room when I arrived. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking at somewhere really nice to stay in Espoo, especially the proximity to the mall, Iso Omena, is so convenient to get groceries and go shopping. The only negative was the bed pillows. They are really not up to hotel standard and should be replaced with a higher quality pillow. But other than that, I cannot recommend Hotel Matts enough."

"Old, but super nice resort in an amazing location in the middle of nature and by a lakeside. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Shame for the terrible weather I was having, as there's lots of possibilities for outdoor activities. Will definitely remember this and go for a longer tyime to enjoy nature."

"Arriving was such a great experience, how check in should be, almost immediate and giving useful information. The room was clean and spacious, the scenery out the window divine 😍. The only improvement I could recommend is to have a fridge in the room, although again the staff were lovely giving free ice for our water jugs. The was also no control for heating, so it did get a little warm later in the summer day, but I guess it's a minor quibble. The areas around is fantastic, and true Finnish beauty. Breakfast was a bit basic, and the gluten free options were not so great, but at least they did have some. Dinner however was far better, and almost everything can be made gluten free, vegetarian etc, and was very nice. Finally, for those reliant on Uber or Bolt, you can get taxis but you may have to wait occasionally. I used the timed feature to collect for the airport, and this worked very well, and was much cheaper than using the local taxi company. "

"Ei keksitä nyt yhtäkkiä mitään moitetta. Jos olisi ollut lämpimämpi ilma, olisi huoneessa varmaan ollut tukalaa, mutta nyt sai nukkumislämpötilan oikein sopivaksi. Aamiainen oli perus hyvä, ei ihmeellisyyksiä, mutta kaikille varmana löytyi jotain. Huone oli hyvän kokoinen ja siisti, käytävillä oli mukavia nurkkauksia oleiluun. Hotellin sijaintihan on aivan huippu, todella rauhallista ja hiljaista. Polkuja Nuuksion metsiin lähtee heti pihapiiristä ja ikkunoista kuului vain linnun laulua. "
