"It was totally good by considering the price"

"I've stayed here many times and have always had a great experience, this time was a little different as the cabin I was staying in was very tired, gaps in the doors and windows ranging from 1cm to 2 possibly 3 cm where Icould see daylight were not ideal as it was a very windy and rainy day making the cabin very drafty and cold. This doesn't take away anything from the service, cleanliness and great food that is always given.... Just this particular stay wasn't to the normal great standard. "

"The property is in a quiet rural spot, convenient for Birmingham, Solihull, Redditch, the M42, etc. I am not aware of any public transport links to the hotel, though, other than taxi. Rooms are to a good standard, although some aspects of the bathrooms could be freshened up (e.g. shower grouting). The restaurant and bar offer a limited menu, but with healthier and more ‘home cooked’ options than chain “lodge” and “inn” alternatives nearby. Overall, very good value"

"It is very convenient for the M1 and easy to find and park. The hotel staff were great but I was ignored by a member of the bar staff once. Great for a one night stay and low cost."

"The pictures on the Expedia don't do justice to the place. Each room is a very lovely cabin in a very peaceful area. It's 5 minutes walk to the Birmingham Arena, so if you need a place to stay after a gig, that's definitely the best solution. The business owner is also very kind and he will also give you all the information you need to move around the area."

"The room smelt fresh and was clean. It was comfortable and had a decent en-suite. The hotel manager was very polite, pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast which was healthy and sufficient. It was a small hotel but that didn’t matter. "
