"I loved the hotel and some of the best and most attentive service anywhere I've ever stayed. The signposting to the camp needs drastic improvement (my taxi got lost which I understood) and the road to get there is dreadful. The accommodation is fabulous and I slept so well. The hotel has an Indian owner and most of the guests were Indian, either from India or local. The way they spoke to and disrespectfully treated the staff was shocking and entirely unacceptable. "Terrible the first night we were given a hut which was very poorly equipped. Avoid Purple Rain which was aptly named as the combined tiny room with toilet and shower wash basin not compartmentalised was leaking water which flowed into the other room a bedroom. The hut was very cold we slept fully clothed … water leak awful no hot water no internet.
