"Blommenhof is ideal in all aspects - we have used it both as one-night roadside motel when traveling and as holiday retreat too. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are very well furnished and super comfortable, especially the larger rooms in the annex. The spa is quite nice; could get very crowded on busy days but in calmer times it is pure joy. "Like a few previous reviews we read the rooms are pretty cold since the heater is tiny and doesn't seem to heat up the room at all. No curtain in the bathroom so that was a bit awkward. Staff was polite and nice. Breakfast was pretty good and wifi worked really well. "

"Hotel looks very modern but has a friendly feel to it. Bedroom was clean and comfortable. The hotel was very busy and the staff worked hard at maintain the food and clearing tables. We did know that the evening meal had only one main dish. However I think more could be done to provide for someone who did or could not eat the food. Maybe more choice of salad. Coffee or tea always available is a nice touch. View over the river and walk around lovely"

"A stunning old building with a lot of character in a beautiful town. I stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed everyday. The breakfast is from 6am and has so much choice, everyone was so friendly and helpful to me, the dinner was delicious and well priced, even the gym is very well equipped! I would love to stay here again "
