"Very nasty place. The whole place smelled of weed."

"This facility has a lot of potential. The bones of the structure are good. It just needs some major updating. It appears that nothing had been done in 15-20 years. There were maintenance issues in the room that could have made the visit better such as toilet paper holder hanging from the wall, side table outlets and lights working. The cleanliness also was lacking. That was someone else’s long hair on the tiles in the bathtub. Also, I remember Doubletree giving warm cookies when you checked in. There was no offer. There were no options for breakfast or coffee available in the lobby. It was a disappointing stay."

"Nice house.. I love the fact that Mrs Emma Gould memory is kept alive through this house. And the Black history through the furniture and pictures was a plus. The location was great and very close to the River Park and other Historical sites. I would only say add something under the claw tub to secure so it dont shift while using it and put curtains on back door. Thanks for making my first trip to Alabama a great experience."

"The home is nicely decorated, but unfortunately our overall experience did not meet expectations.Cleanliness was a concern upon arrival—bed linens did not appear clean, the bathtub and laundry room were dirty, and the floors were not well maintained. Basic supplies like tissues and paper towels were also insufficient during our stay.There were a few safety concerns as well. Access to the upstairs area did not feel suitable for elementary-aged children, some light switches were missing covers, and the outside entrance required to access the upstairs did not feel comfortable to use at night.Communication with the host could have been better. We reached out in advance regarding early check-in but received a delayed response, and once we arrived late in the day, it was difficult to get timely assistance regarding the issues we encountered.Overall, while the home looks appealing in photos, the condition and experience did not align with expectations."

"The home is a very clean and well equipped space. The host is super responsive and accommodating (due to unforseen issues I needed to extend my stay twice duringbthis visit). The lighting and cameras made me feel safe."

"I didn't stay on this property , it was a last minute cancelation. I was very disappointed. I spoke with Vrbo they apologized and offered alternative lodging which I respectfully declined. I have received a full refund. But will not attempt to rent that property again"

"Josh and his team always provide us a fabulous experience when we come to Montgomery with our 8th grade. Whenever I need something delivered to the house, they are on it. They are so easy to communicate with, to book, and everything is neat and clean. We love it and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thanks Dreamline Suites for making our experience so great. We'll be back next year."
