We loved our time at "Charming on Chestnut"! The original hardwood floors were beautiful and the antique furniture was lovely. The home is open and inviting with plenty of space for a family of 4 and our 2 small dogs.Stephanie, our host, was very responsive and wonderful to work with. She has done a wonderful job curating a "home away from home" for her guests. We are very grateful to her for making such a wonderful vacation possible.

Good place to stay while exploring the area. Good beds!Lots of room Only recommendation I would have is to put some reading lamps in the bedrooms. the very small lamps provided were too small for older eyes.

The home is a perfect little getaway, especially if you’re traveling with a pup and want to be close to the national park and great local restaurants. The house is very clean and stocked with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. The owner was incredibly thoughtful with the essentials — soap, shampoo, conditioner, all linens, towels, coffee, tea, popcorn , and even some breakfast snacks. We arrived later in the afternoon, so having those in the morning was an unexpected but much‑appreciated touch.Overall, we had a wonderful stay, enjoyed exploring the national park, and loved the nearby restaurants. You must make the drive to Mt. Hope, WV and try The Table Smokehouse — absolutely worth it. Thanks again for the fantastic stay!

Clean, comfortable, and well equipped

This property was great. It was very clean, very comfortable, a great location, and very well equipped. The host was also exceptional. Great with communication, lots of great tips for the area, and even offered to mail an earring back to us that we had lost under the couch. Would definitely stay here again.

Aptly named!

This certainly is a charming home. All the basics were there...plus so many thoughtful extras! The beds and bedding were so comfortable; the kitchen was equipped for everything to prepare meals and snacks. The coffee bar was a nice touch! If we weren't out and about visiting relatives, we were shopping and enjoying the gorgeous scenery. Evenings were for cocktails and playing games outside on the deck. We loved our stay!

I especially appreciated all the extra amenities available- from shampoo to extra toothbrushes to the k-cups and creamers! If we return to ACE we will definitely stay here again!
