We rented this beautiful home for our family to stay in during our son’s wedding. It was a wonderful experience being able to have parents, grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins under the same roof. We had a lovely visit. It was large enough to accommodate us very comfortably with room to spare. Incredibly responsive hosts! Would highly recommend!

We brought down a group of runners and their families for the BAM Oak Island Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1 mile. This was the PERFECT house to accommodate our group. Very clean and pretty. The hot tub was a huge hit! The kitchen and dining spaces were great for preparing and serving large meals. The bedrooms and living spaces were very comfortable! The owners were great and quick to respond. Will definitely stay at the Sandcastle house again!

Our large family had an amazing week staying at this beautiful house! It is roomy, very clean and well-situated between the beach and main road. We loved that we could walk to the beach easily, then come back and hang in the pool. If we needed anything from Larry, he was very quick to respond and gracious. I would highly recommend this property for a large family gathering. It was perfect for our week in Oak Island!

We had our entire bridal party stay here and it was simply perfect! Everyone had their own space. We enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub, watching basketball in the living room, and even playing some of the games they provided! The hosts were so nice and always responded quickly. The Sand castle was exactly what we were looking for!

Can’t say enough about this property and it’s owners. Clean, spacious with great communication and super easy access to beach (walking) and golf. Will definitely be our go to place from now on for our oak island trips. 10:10 would recommend.

The property was just as described. It was very clean. Elevator was super useful in carrying in luggage and groceries. Beach is just a short walk away. We loved our stay. The only thing we could have possibly wanted that we didn’t have were a few extra towels and washcloths.

Larry's house was comfortably big enough for our family of 18. It was beautiful, well-equipped with comfortable beds. The location was beautiful. Larry was super responsive. The elevator wasn't working when we arrived and he was at the house in 20 min working on it. A super nice guy, an amazing property and a beautiful location. We definitely recommend!

We used the house for Thanksgiving 2023. It was perfect for our family dynamic! The floorplan is awesome being that each bedroom is roomy and has access to it's own spacious bathroom. Of course we did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen to be well stocked with tons of equipment and great quality pots & pans--unheard of at a short term rental! The host was extremely responsive (when we had questions prior to booking) and very accommodating. I'd definitely recommend this property to others.

This was our second trip to the Sand Castle and it won't be our last! The property is in a great location, an easy walk to the beach, and had ample space for our group of 24. The kitchen has everything you'll need to feed a group, and enough space so that multiple cooks aren't bumping into each other! It was unseasonably warm for part of our stay, so more people braved the pool than last year as well. Thank you for having us again, and we look forward to next year already! ♥

The house was great! We had 5 families and still didn't use all the bedrooms! There was plenty of space to spread out and to allow for quiet with napping little ones. The kitchen had everything you needed for big meal prep, including double microwaves and dishwashers. The kids had a blast in the pool and the outdoor furniture was really comfortable. The owners were prompt with answers to questions and communication great. We will be back!

We do a family Christmas Trip every year w our 7 children and grandchildren ((been married 3 yrs and became a large family). We try a different location every year and of course need a lot of room. We were not disappointed at all and had a great experience ! The home was very clean and it has a well stocked kitchen For serving a large group! We were extremely pleased and the Hosts were very Courteous and quick to respond! Would def recommend to any one needing a great vacation in a great location close to the Beach!
