"The room was lovely very spacious it was a four poster bed we laughed every night when I tried to get in it was so high but im only 5 foot the only thing was that there were short of staff at the reception desk but you had to go and find someone in the bar area but that was ok it dint spoil anything"

Leonardo Hotel Derby

"A lovely hotel for a one night stay. Short walk into the city centre. Easy parking in the nearby 'Chapel Street' multistorey Car Park. Hotel staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I would stay here again."
Holiday Inn Express Burton Upon Trent by IHG

"Very friendly staff, comfortable stay, great location, would come back"
Cathedral Quarter Hotel - Derby
8/10 Good
"Lovely old property, it was right for us within nice walking distance to darley park for a concert( 20 mins). Very quiet area, slept lovely, comfy bed and pillows. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Perhaps needs a bit of tlc and promoting as it didn't seem busy and really should be. If the outside door looks closed late at night just push it you can get in. Good value for money."
The Rutland Arms Hotel, Bakewell, Derbyshire
8/10 Good
"Lovely hotel, fantastic location. Well decorated, comfy twin room but disappointingly, in the annex. Not in the main hotel. IMO, on the expensive side. £500 2 x nights, especially as it was 'room only'. Also, hardly any parking on site. Forced to park in public car park.My fault. Should have paid more attention when booking."
