The Xochimilco neighborhood is located on the northern outskirts of the downtown area of Oaxaca, 9 blocks from the zócalo and is within the area considered a World Heritage Site. It is crossed by an aqueduct built of green quarry. It's a beautiful colonial corner that has a unique charm that can be seen in its colorful streets, where you can find artisan shops, eat typical Oaxacan dishes in its large number of restaurants, and enjoy excellent coffee and pastries in its multiple cafes.
