Had read some other lackluster reviews, but so glad we stayed at Hotel Victoria. We loved our double superior room with full windows and balcony. The grounds and pool area were well maintained, the room was spotless, the food in the restaurant was excellent, and all the staff were so friendly and attentive. A great way to start our month of travels in Oaxaca! Many thanks!

I think the Hotel Victoria is a grand older hotel that needs a facelift such as new carpeting. The staff are fantastic and the property has a beautiful pool and view. Their food could definitely be improved. Their room service food was better than the restaurant.

Clean, older room. Good bed with very hard pillows. Nice towels. The restaurant is good but some of the staff are very nice and friendly and some are not as service oriented. Food is very good and the presentation is nice.

The grounds are beautifully maintained! The rooms need serious renovations; very dated, although the beds and pillows are really comfortable. The king room needs more electrical outlets and electrical appliances need upgrading throughout.

Clean areas all around. Polite staff and clean rooms. Parking was near the room, pool was cold for my own taste but that would depend on the time of the year you go, I went in January so it was to be expected. Traveling near the zocalo was very easy. There is no shops near by since the hotel is on a hillside so get your stuff before you get there. Overall I love the hotel and I would stay there again.

If I had qualified based on the treatment during check-in only, my first impression was very bad because they told me if I had booked directly instead of using the platform, we would have been able to give rate options. Later, during the stay the experience was excellent treatment in the restaurant, high quality fpod, spacious room and quiet atmosphere, it made us feel comfortable. The hotel has a convenient location, walk distance to Oaxsca center, and private bus transportation.

Room was good with a nice view! Pool was nice just a little cold- but that’s not hotels fault. Front desk staff was nice . Our waiter for dinner wasn’t as talkative as I would expect from a server. All areas of hotel were clean. Definitely would stay again

Affordable and spacious rooms, conveniently located near downtown. The hotel offers free transportation to the city center, which is a big plus if you’d rather avoid parking hassles. The staff is kind and helpful, and there’s the option of a breakfast buffet. On top of that, the view of the city—both day and night—is truly beautiful.

The room was very spacious and the location is less busy than what you would get downtown, but heavily dated. AC won't work and several hazards around the rooms such as nails coming out of the ground or walls. Views are great but rooms are priced similar to higher end hotels in downtown. The restaurant has good quality options but overall service is very slow.amd messy at times. They have a shuttle to downtown and may have other services not properly advertised nor notified by staff so make sure you ask around. A taxi to and from downtown is around 100 mxn from this property

The staff very friendly, the property is a little bit old and is showing signs of deteriorating, has poor sound insulation so you can hear anything from outside, the hotel has loud music almost every day either from the bar or events from the salon, so if you need to rest is not that easy but if you want to party this maybe the right place.

Excellent property. Most of the staff was friendly. Pool was very big. A bit cold when you jump in, but you get used to it, especially on hot days, which are often. Looking forward to coming back!

The room was clean with a view of the city. The grounds were beautiful and clean. The food was great and the staff was nice. The hotel provides a shuttle to go downtown but it starts at 6 P.M. we walked to downtown a few times and took a taxi on the way back. The walk downhill is easy but difficult going up the hill.
