"Excellent location right by Basel's Old Town, and there's a bus stop nearby with a bus that goes to the main train station. The rooms and beds are very modern and comfortable, the hotel is on a quiet street, and the breakfadt buffet is excellent. Staff are also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!"

"Great location and an easy tram ride from the station. We stayed before a Viking River Cruise. Viking has a desk on the lobby. The rooms were great. They were quiet, nicely appointed and comfortable. The staff could have not been more helpful."

"The hotel was a good affordable option for a quick stay in Basel. It was quite far from the train station, maybe 25-30 minute walk with suitcases. The hotel gave us Basel cards which meant the trams were free to use. The room itself was comfortable but needed some maintenance, the bathroom door didn’t close and the sink was blocked. "

The only complaint is when the bathroom light is turned on it lights up the whole room through the glass partition between the bedroom and bathroom, so when one goes to the toilet at night the other person sharing the room may wake up also if s/he is sensitive to light. "A huge room, we loved the beautiful big windows, the modern decor and spacious living areas and bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful and hotel was well located for exploring Basel. We had a great stay and would recommend. Only niggle was beds were not comfortable for all of us."
