Best Western Hotel Kaiserhof

"The Kaiserhof is located next bus stops and the train station making it easy to travel into Central Bonn. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a good assortment of foods. Also there are plenty of restaurants nearby to eat at.The hotel was quiet although there was some noise from the street out front. The staff of the hotel were helpful and professional. I strongly recommend this hotel."

"I attend the UN Climate meetings in Bonn each year, and have stayed in Bonn and in small towns on both sides of the Rhein, to the south of the city. All places except one have been satisfactory, but this one stands out as special. The aesthetics are simple but pleasing. My room was spacious, especially the bathroom, though this is a renovation project and all rooms may not all be cut to the same size and shape. Everything worked. Even with a shared inner courtyard where neighboring voices could sometimes be heard, the place was still and quiet. It is a short walk to the regional train stop with good service to Bonn. The town truly features the river, and the meaning of it is present to take-in, not by explanation but by what you can see for yourself and the way people are using it in their lives. I'm sure many have said the breakfast is wonderful. But you need to experience that for yourself. I am reluctant to praise this place as much as it deserves, because I would like to return and hope rooms will be available and at the very reasonable price."

"Breakfast was fantastic. Room was a little dated but clean and nice. The Hotel has a feeling of space. Staff were friendly. Bike parking is not so great - there is a small rack in front of the hotel. You can park in the garage but there is nothing to chain the bikes to. The staff agreed to use one of their big locks but then removed this without telling me. The pool is also out of use for guests but the website says it is available. This could be a great place with a few tweaks "

"We were given an upgrade and the room was very nice, although the cost was very high at £180+ , which we assumed was due to the time of year. It was part of an 8 day trip which included 5 hotels and this was almost double the cost of the other, good quality hotels. The hotel and amenities are excellent and I would have awarded a higher rating for the ambience……however we were very disappointed with the set meal at £69 per head. We had invited my husbands mother to join us and felt that it wasn’t value for money. The bar was suffering from staff sickness and service was slow…..but the head barman was very good and apologetic for any inconvenience. Overall a very nice hotel, but expensive."
