"We all loved this property! In fact, our 4 year old is still talking about how she misses “that beach house”. It had everything we could have possibly needed in the kitchen! Oh, except a pizza cutter haha! Even though, we made due and enjoyed our stay. We all felt at home here and look forward to booking more events here. Thank you!"

"What a lovely stay! The place was clean and you couldn’t ask for a better view and beach access. Backing out of the driveway is tricky but doable. The climb down to the beach could be hard for older people. Make note that there is only a toaster oven, no oven. We absolutely loved it though. It’s quaint and comfortable! We will be back again! It’s adorable!"

"Stunning! This house was amazing! Before we even entered, my family was remarking on how beautiful the property was. The house had everything we needed, which was a huge bonus as we have been in larger homes with less amenities. The kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were amazing. Everyone commented about how comfortable the beds were multiple times. We've never slept so well in a rental. There are 3 master bedroom suites in the home as well as a children's room. There were plenty of places for us to gather but also separate and have our own spaces as needed. The outdoor area was perfect! The decks were amazing with hot tub, propane heaters, fire ring and plenty of seating. I wish we could have used the area more as it was raining and windy our entire stay. The upstairs seating area by the fireplace was our favorite to view the ocean and congregate. The only difficult part of our trip was the walk to the ocean. I only mention it because we had small children and it was a little risky to run across 101 with them. There is limited view coming from both sides of the road and those cars are flying so we were running across every time we came or went to the ocean. Just something to be aware of but certainly not a deterrent from leasing the property. The location on the coast was perfect! We love the Depot Bay, Newport, Waldport, and Yachats areas! Seal Rock is one of our favorite beaches and we love visiting the lighthouses in the area."

"Pros: Private! Great yard for kids and dogs. House was spacious, kid and dog friendly. Picture windows gave a great view of the ocean. Plenty of streaming options available which is nice when you have special needs grandchildren that need some sensory input. Beds were very comfortable! Kitchen was fully equipped and very well stocked. Overall, the house was exactly what we were looking for, for a great family get away. We will be back! Con’s: Very difficult to see the driveway marker from the highway. I feel it needs to be a more visible marker. Front door needs a handle on the outside to pull Ian’s hold it closed so that locking the door is easier. A added chain lock higher in the door on the inside would be a benefit to keep toddlers from unlocking and opening the door."

"This property was so much better than we expected based on the photos. It's spacious, well-appointed, and the views are stunning. It's not fancy and it's "dated," but it's incredibly cozy and functional. The hot tub is such an awesome feature and is 99% private. There's one neighbor that could catch a glimpse of you if they really put the effort in. But if you want to sit naked in a hot tub overlooking the ocean, this is a pretty safe place for it. The kitchen leaves a bit to be desired--all of the pans are pretty beat up. The knives are dangerously dull. That's really my only big gripe about the property. The beach access is a little tricky, as others have mentioned. There's a staircase part of the way and then, yes, it's a steep dirt trail. There is a rope to assist with going up and down. We managed to navigate it while carrying chairs both up and down. It isn't THAT bad. And if you're familiar with the Oregon Coast, you'll know that this is pretty average beach access. The beach itself was amazing. Sandy and EMPTY. What a treat. The bedrooms are large and the beds are comfortable. One bedroom has a fairly firm bed while the other is softer. There is only one full bathroom and it is not attached to either bedroom (no true master), which is totally fine. Just something to note if you're wanting privacy. It was clean, safe, and comfortable with stunning beach views and private access. What more can you ask for?! Book it!"
