"Great house! It was on a bluff above the beach, but the walk down was super easy and we were able to go every day. We spent three weeks here and had a great time. The property company is a little weird about their towels, but they were also easy to work with, very accommodating and helpful. Only gave four stars on the neighborhood because of some angry neighbors that gave us trouble. They didn’t care for our dogs, which were on leash and picked up after. But they got out of the house of leash once and that angered them to no end. And they just didn’t like it when our dogs barked, which was pretty much only when their dog barked at ours (which ironically, was off leash most of the time). Usually I give a pass on these things because I understand that locals don’t like tourists in rentals and I get that, but when they yelled at my children, that free pass evaporated! Regardless, this wasn’t the management company’s fault, and the neighbors were easy enough to deal with, we just smiled and waved at them."

"Small cottage about 10 minutes walk from Seal Rock. Large grassy yard for dog to run around in and porch for outdoor eating. Kitchen has no dishwasher but lots of cooking implements. The bedrooms have no place to hang up clothes. The large step down into the master bedroom needs to be re-engineered into two steps that meet code. The chairs for the kitchen dining table are extremely uncomfortable and need to be replaced with chairs that have some cushioning. Plenty of beach paraphernalia, including towels, chairs, toys, etc. There are lots of kids games, books, etc for hanging out in the house. Don’t go on July: it was foggy the entire time and blowing on the beach 10-20 mph continuously . Wait until AugSept. Had to wear multiple layers and jacket to enjoy walking on beaches. "

"We've stayed at many homes on the Oregon Coast, and this was one of our favorites. I was worried about it being right off the highway- but you can't hear the cars inside. The ocean views and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Loved the HOT hot tub and comfortable king bed in the master bedroom. We look forward to staying again!"
