The condo was as pictured, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed having a partial ocean view from the side patio, which was a nice bonus. The game room, indoor pool, movies and sauna we liked given we had rain everyday. The people working in the guard house were spectacular—very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and accurate in their communication.The property had cleanliness and maintenance issues that affected our stay. The floors had a lot of sand on them when we arrived, and the kitchen floor was sticky, so we had to mop it ourselves. Both bathrooms could have used a more thorough cleaning. The guest bathroom sink had drainage issues, the toilet had problems, and the washer did not work until second day of stay. Lastly the front screen door would not shut and given the high winds, we found ourselves finding a way to tie it to the main door because it was slamming against the condo outer wall.We originally booked through Vacasa, but midway through the process, a company called VueStay took over. Everyone we dealt with at both Vacasa and VueStay were polite, but communication took numerous texts and phone calls to try to get issues addressed. Even then, not much was actually resolved in a timely manner. Overall, the condo has potential because of the location, comfortable beds, and accurate listing photos, but the cleaning and maintenance need significant improvement, and the management transition made communication more frustrating than it should have been.
