Perfect for both a relaxing family vacation and for people eager to explore all sorts of activities around!
The beach is just a minute away, and it's a great beach – the sand is not too sticky, not crowded, perfect for kids. We loved it. During our stay in July, the water was not too cold either. The house is just minutes away from all sorts of fun activities (luna park, water park, go-kart, mini-golf, kayak and boat rentals, and more), groceries, restaurants, and bars. For many of them, you'll, of course, need to go by car, but they are still very close.
We also had the chance to visit the amazing Assateague Island and two nearby towns, Berlin or Rehoboth, both worth the trip.
The house is super welcoming; you will immediately feel at home. It's extremely clean and has an amazing decor that will put you in a vacation mood right away! We found all the kitchen tools, cooking spices, towels, toilet paper, laundry and dishwasher soap, liquid cleaners, cloths, plastic wrap, trash bags, and everything you may need when you're away from home. There is a vacuum for you to use that is super useful considering the remaining sand you may bring back with you (there is a hose to get rid of most of it in the parking).
Kristen and Matt were terrific hosts. Kristen was immediately responsive to our questions and provided great suggestions as well! We truly recommend their place, and if we're back in the area, we will not hesitate to stay there again!
