Dirty House - Disappointed - Book Somewhere Else
We booked this house even though it was expensive due pictures but quickly found out it was not representative.
This was a very disappointing experience. On the first day, we ended up cleaning for 3 hours followed by 2 more on the second. The house was covered in dog hair, floors had to be mopped three times. The counters and open shelves including the plates & glasses were dirty and we had to do multiple loads of dishes. Bathrooms had to be cleaned again. Bathroom light was broken and required replacement by the PM. The light by the only entrance door with the keypad was broken the entire time and could not be fixed forcing us to use flashlights on our phone when we returned at night. A mini blind fell off the window the first night. The master bedroom mattress had no cover and had urine stains all over it (hopefully dogs). We walked in to flies everywhere and a fly tack strip above the kitchen table which is a picnic table. There were dirty rugs everywhere that we just rolled up and put in the closet.
The garage smelled terrible and had visible mold on the floors and walls. Dryer wouldn't dry anything. The pool furniture was dirty and rusted significantly. The grass had not been cut with weeds growing everywhere. Not that we would have used the yard to play with the kids bc it was full of dog crap. We were planning on fishing but the dock was in terrible shape with lots of trash at the end of the beach. PM was responsive and tried to help.
