"I got catfished by this hotel, it looked more like a motel. Not even the cute bathtub in the image was there, just a gross shower and a ceiling that was bubbling. I wouldn’t be shocked if they used AI to make those images because not even the building looks the same as the pictures. The blankets and pillows were really gross and we went out to buy blankets just for the stay. The floors had questionable spots all over it and I didn’t feel relaxed at all during my stay. We were right near the water but this definitely wasn’t what I was hoping for when celebrating my anniversary. The only good thing I could say is about the staff. They were very friendly, but that couldn’t make up for my disappointment."

"The location is right on the beach, the host provided an extra twin bed when asked. The house is old, so be prepared for that. The welcome guide says it is 100 years old. You also park in a parking lot that is a bit hidden and out of the way, the instructions to get there were very clear, but ordering GrubHub had me walking to the street to find the delivery driver. With that being said, you can tell the house has been updated. I don’t think the shower curtain was clean, which was a bit of a challenge since it was a clawfoot tub and the shower curtain went all the way around. Aside from that everything else felt clean and nice."

"This house is very cute. Kitchen and bathrooms are nice, and owner is nice. Our biggest issue was that the home was not clean. There were dirty sheets on the beds, coffee in the coffee pot, dirty towels in the washing machine, and a portable hospital toilet in the downstairs shower. When we arrived, the heat did not work. Kim was very responsive and got it fixed right away. The outside garbage cans were extremely full and there were a couple of cockroaches. Several lights were missing bulbs and we couldn't turn one on. There were old appliances (washer and dryer) tossed at the end of the driveway, and the outdoor shower for washing our feet off was inoperable. The front door was unable to be opened from inside but also unlockable, a serious safety issue. This is the only time in many years of using VRBO that I have had less than an outstanding experience. I recommended to the owner that she communicate with her cleaning company."
