"Very quant old building in the centre of Petworth village. The rooms are very clean, nicely designed with beautiful bathrooms. Mind your head! As a very old building the stairs are narrow and uneven as may present a challenge for folks with limited mobility."

"Amazing stay this weekend at Ashdown. We were able to play tennis, use the driving range, lunch and walk around the grounds all before checking in. Room was beautiful and clean with a great view! Dinner in the restaurant and breakfast also great and generous portions. Service fantastic! "

"In a great location, opposite the train station. The room was really spacious and great amenities like a fan, coffee machine, air con, heater, iron, hair drier. The staff were also super friendly! We would definitely go back. "

"After getting upgraded though a problem with the booking the staff were brilliant and sorted the problem and made us aware of the band that as playing that night of which the loud music would be heard till 1am. Wallpaper hanging off the walls and very small corridors, carpark had massive holes in which scratched the front of the car. "
