"Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for."

"We stayed one night in a 4th floor room in the Hepburn annexe. The room was tidy but by no means immaculate, having a few marks of wear and tear here and there. It was also uncomfortably warm, not benefiting from any air conditioning although a desk fan was provided. As it was a top floor room it possibly suffered worse from the suns rays on the buildings flat roof. It has been an exceptionally warm summer in the UK at over 30 degrees C for several days.
