"What a nice surprise. We loved Polderhuis !!! My room was 2nd floor and our friends were 1st floor. I must say, the Morning breakfast was over the top wonderful. Fresh and tasty!!! The staff was VERY helpful. I would for sure recommend staying here. The park across the street is beautiful. "

"A unique spot and a unique room. Just be aware it is a typical old European(steep and narrow) climb to the rooms. Check in is in the bar/restaurant. They were very accommodating for my wife’s gluten allergy for breakfast and for supper. A little out of the way,but we used a park and ride to get into Amsterdam. "

"We were to thankful when our travel was delayed and the flexibility from our host. They let us in at midnight after 36 hours of travel. The beds were very comfortable and the suite was very clean and well appointed. "

"Enjoyed our family stay on “Hortensia Eiland”. Cottage was nicely appointed with everything needed to do small meals. Took full advantage of the farm fresh eggs, yogurt, jam and milk. We felt like we experienced the Holland countryside experience to its fullest!"

"We stayed in the garden suite and absolutely loved it! The host is amazing and did so many nice things for us that I don't even want to mention them...in case they don't do the same for everyone. This is the BEST bed/breakfast that I have ever stayed in. We love our back porch and garden, we loved the kitchen and treats, the bed was romantic and incredible, had a wireless speaker. "Great stay and wonderful experience near Bodegraven. Hosts we’re kind and welcoming and quickly attended to our questions. Setting is ideal with great hiking and biking close by. Bodegraven has a train station making further travels quite easy. Apartment was 30 mins drive to Kuekenhof Gardens. Very quiet at night making sleeping a pleasure. Parking on site. Highly recommend, particularly for couples. Exceeded expectations"
