"We loved our time here at the Effala suite. It was located right in the middle of the heart of Colmar so lots to see and do outside but there was a nice quiet courtyard inside the gate when you wanted to get away from the crowds. I picked this place for the views out the windows and that did not disappoint. We stayed there early May, so it wasn’t too hot without air conditioning, but may be a factor at other times of year. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again....

"Very clean. Comfortable bed with extra blankets and sheets. Easy parking out the front. Shower was awkward due to the sloping ceiling, and the resulting shower curtain arrangement. Location and proximity to the highway were excellent for us. Good supermarket a short drive or good walk away. "

"We spent a magical Thanksgiving holiday here. The home is very clean and comfortable. There is plenty of space for large families or a big group of friends. The location is in a beautiful part of the Black Forest with stunning views, hiking trails and outdoor activities close by. Stefanie and Dominik are wonderful hosts and kept great communication. We hope to get the chance to come back here again soon!"

"Easy walk to local sites, shops and restaurants. The apartment was quaint and located in a historic house. Stephanie was very helpful and attentive. We tried 4 of her 5 restaurant recommendations. Each one was an excellent dining experience. We had an excellent 8 day stay. The steep stairs would prevent this being a good selection for people with mobility issues. Clean and welcoming."

"Wir haben eine schöne Woche verbracht, auch wenn das Wetter nicht immer mitspielen wollte. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet, der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war völlig unkompliziert (und der Hund hat auch mal geschaut, ob bei uns alles in Ordnung ist) und als wir mit dem Fahrrad so richtig nass geworden sind, hat der Pellet-Ofen uns und unsere Stimmung gewärmt. "Haben das Objekt wegen eines in der Nähe erforderlichen Krankenhausaufenthalts ausgewählt. Die Lage war ideal, da fußläufig zu erreichen oder mit Straßenbahn. Zwar gehen 10 Meter vom Schlafzimmerfenster Straßenbahn und Ausfallstraße vorbei, aber die Fenster sind gut gedämmt. Hervorragend hat die Kommunikation mit dem "Vertreter der vermietenden Firma" geklappt, war jederzeit ansprechbar und hat stets schnell reagiert. Auf jeden Fall kein Luxusobjekt, für 4 Erwachsene wäre es eine rechte...

"Apartment was in great location. Serviceable unit. A little clunky with the spiral staircase-especially getting luggage up and down. Cute little balcony. Diane was great in getting us checked in on time. The only negative about the experience was that there were no toiletries or extra trash bags. I thought at first that this might be a French thing but after subsequent VRBO visits to Beaune and Paris, I realized this was not the case. Even toilet paper was scarce.
