"Cost is always a criteria for me. Motels in Hays that were safe, inexpensive, (less than $100) and clean were over $200 this weekend because of graduations. I was forced to travel 22 miles to Ellis to find an affordable room. The only drawback, the shower didn't drain. Other than that, it was convenient to the interstate and fast food. I will stay again, I think I will no longer stay in Hays. Hays has become too crowded and busy. "

"I want to be fair to the owners - we stayed for less than 8 hours after a weather-delayed arrival, and very early departure as part of a family road trip. The home was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was invigorating in the morning. I would stop there again, for sure."
