"The fee this property has decided to charge for an early arrival was a major inconvenience. We had a birthday cake and a plant that we did not want to be ruined in a hot vehicle. My husband did not sleep well the night before and had hoped to get a nap before our kids arrived. Even though the staff were great and everything else was fine, we won’t be staying here again due to this policy. We had two suite rooms rented. A $30.00 additional fee for one hour is ridiculous. We checked with your competitor and they don’t have this policy so we will stay with them next time."

"The place is older but rooms were very clean. The pool and hot tube were nice and easily accessible. The breakfast was not the greatest. The biggest plus of this place is the staff. They went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. We had to add on extra rooms at the last minute and they managed to still get all of our rooms close together so we could be next to each other. Very helpful staff"

South Platte Cabins & Kennels - Campsite

"The cabins are super cute and offer great privacy. However there were a lot of bugs in the room. I probably killed 6 or more flies and there were randomly a bunch of rollie polies in the bathroom. I had my dog with me and she got grass stickers in her paw. There's joy really a great grass area for dogs close to the cabins. Otherwise it was comfortable."

"This review is kind of skewed, since originally I was supposed to be here, but at the last minute, the air conditioner went out. The host graciously (what i called a huge upgrade), upgraded me to a different vacation home. They definitely went above and beyond with the handling of the last minute situation. I was able to get in sooner than originally discussed. I will definitely hopefully rent this vacation home again from them"
