"Room is nice, parking is good,breakfast good. The staff is robotic. Good and reasonable $ Mexican restaurant right next door! But it is dirty and tons of flies...This hotel lobby has alot of flies also when we eat breakfast!"

"It was so refreshing to be greeted with a smile and a cheerful attitude! I asked if the woman owned the place and she said yes. It appeared that they are still updating and preparing some of the rooms. It's a charming vintage motel away from the noise of the interstate. Everything in the room worked, the bed was comfortable, all amenities I needed were there. For the frugal minded this is a wonderful place. I even enjoyed hearing the train pass through across the street, as I've lived near tracks for years. Parking was just outside the door, I felt safe and secure. I would definitely stay there again. I don't need fancy, I want clean, quiet, safe, private and inexpensive. This place was all of that!"

"Fabulous stay, wonderful hot tub! Perfect for long distance trekers driving from East Coast to West Coast or vice versa. Perfect in between stop for a good night's rest on a long drive. Walmart within eyesight for goodies and supplies. Friendly people."

South Platte Cabins & Kennels - Campsite

"The cabins are super cute and offer great privacy. However there were a lot of bugs in the room. I probably killed 6 or more flies and there were randomly a bunch of rollie polies in the bathroom. I had my dog with me and she got grass stickers in her paw. There's joy really a great grass area for dogs close to the cabins. Otherwise it was comfortable."
