Badlands Hotel and Campground

"This is a great location if you plan to hike around the Badlands. It is a very basic hotel, but the beds were clean and the air conditioning worked during the hot summer day/night we were there. You are right near the edge of the park and we were able to do some sunrise hikes before checking out of the hotel and continuing our drive through the park."

"My wife and I stayed here with another couple for 7 days. I can't say enough about how friendly the owner was. She told us about the carnival, the town rodeo and the local restaurant. A hail storm came through and she texted me to let us know we could park our motorcycles in a covered area. So thoughtful! Everything we needed was there. The cabin was beautifully decorated and very cozy and Bridget took the time to label all the cabinets!We would definitely recommend!!"

"Hotel is very clean and very conveniently located on the main strip through town in chadron. It's an older hotel and the decoration inside is quite dated but still clean and well kept. My only complaint is the bathroom, these toilets are some from somewhere in the mid-1950s. They're designed for Asian midgets. Most modern toilets have moved to the oval shape. These are very cleary Eisenhower era round miniature toilets. My wife and I are both very tall and it was just kind of awkward. Will stay here again if necessary but would like to find a place with more modern amenities for the restroom. But it does what it needs to do it's a hotel it's clean you can sleep and park right by your room which was super nice."

"This little apartment was like home away from home. It was cozy and comfortable and loved cooking in the kitchen instead of having to eat out!! The hostess was wonderful. She got it ready so we could check in early and get ready for a wedding we were in town for. We would highly recommend!!"

"Listing just as advertised. Close enough to do all the things! Location gave us solitude when wanted, however we were out exploring most of everyday we were there. Kids loved the giant game room with many options. Hot tub and massage chair were a huge bonus after long days of hiking."
