Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und man fühlt sich sofort Willkommen. Beide tun wirklich alles, damit es einem an Nichts fehlt. Abends am Kaminfeuer haben wir gar nicht gemerkt, wie schnell die Zeit vergangen ist, weil wir uns so gut unterhalten haben. Zum Frühstück gibt es frische Eier von den eigenen Hühnern, selbstgemachte Marmelade und Honig aus der eigenen Imkerei. Hier ist es einfach wunderbar.

The owner is really warming and welcoming on our arrival. The entrance to the property and garden is fantastic. The room was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was great. It has a really good shower which was well needed after our Tongariro crossing. The breakfast was great. Overall we give this place a hundred percent. It ticked all the boxes and we would highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to this area. From Chad & Jenna.

Amazing Hosts

Lovely place to stay, with stunning scenery all around and very comfortable rooms. Heather and Peter were very friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. There is a great breakfast selection - a perfect way to prepare for a day on the mountains. Would highly recommend the lodge to anyone.

Refined New Zealand at its best with a homely vibe

Heather and Peter are great hosts and make you feel welcome and comfortable immediately. Room was very tastefully decorated and had everything required plus. Heather and Peter had lots of local knowledge about best sights and routes to take. The presence of the alpacas and sheep in the garden which you can feed gives the B&B a USP. Rikki Martin is also adorable!!

We got snowed in travelling North. Arrived at this lovely accommodation in the snow. Stunning! Peter and Heather are wonderful friendly hosts. Beautiful fresh cooked breakfast.
