"My family stayed here for Labor Day weekend and had a great time. House is great and sits nicely towards the end of a canal. We rented a boat and docked it easily. "My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The property is back in a quiet neighborhood/island, but is close to anything you need. There was plenty of space to dock the boat we rented, and it was nice being back in a cove/no wake zone. Took many boat rides to see various things, as there is places to eat and even a state park you can stop at and walk the trails. The property itself was excellent, clean and had everything we needed. Neighbors were very nice also. We strongly recommend to anyone looking for a lake getaway! "

Revel in the beautiful lux house and cozy cottage! CAMP: be ready for the unexpected and some inconveniences. I believe this place has immense potential – but needs some more TLC and fixes before it can be a true 5-star rating. Right now, if you know what you’re getting into, and don’t mind it – it’s AMAZING. Glamp it up and enjoy all the best aspects of lake life! We’re told this is the first year for them, and they seem to be dealing with start-up issues. While the property manager, Regan, is responsive, not all issues could be fixed quickly. It feels like the property owners bit off more than they could chew and were preemptive in putting this listing on VRBO, but we believe this place will be a true luxurious gem once it’s fully ready. We had issues with the filtered water losing pressure, so were left with well water for drinking for a few hrs. The HVAC changed on its own at times - and some of the vents pumped hot air despite being set on cool. The water heater errored out, but once reset, we had hot water again for showers. Once, at 4am, smoke detectors in the cottage went off for no reason with no way to reach them on the high ceilings. A few rocks around the firepit cracked and exploded when our fire got really hot. But, with every issue brought up to Regan, she was quick to respond and try to help resolve issues."

" We loved this location for the quiet, picturesque lane, fishing off the dock, and a yard that backs up to a huge field with deer. We had our grandsons with us and it was perfect for them and very safe. We also enjoyed S’mores and beautiful sunsets from the huge front deck as the sun dipped into the lake. The cottage is well equipped and the owner reached out immediately with helpful information. She also made sure the kayaks were ready to go and placed outside for us when we arrived. She cared about our stay which made our stay even better. A cozy, welcoming home with a fireplace and extra sleeping spaces if needed. Comfortable and the type of lake home where you want to return for more. "
