Spectacular Beach Views of Ohope Beach
Ohope Heights is a two bedroom apartment below the residence of your hosts Linda and Tony Bonne. This apartment is designed for comfort with two super king super comfortable beds, a lounge room with spectacular sea views, Smart TV connected to Sky, Free WiFi, coffee espresso machine, sundeck with a table and chairs, sun umbrella and Weber BBQ for your use. The kitchenette has a microwave, hotplate and electric fry-pan. There is no oven. On arrival you will find fresh fruit, biscuits, bottled water, and our Cavapoo 'Hugo" to welcome you to our picturesque slice of heaven.
All linen is supplied, and we provide beach towels for your beach swim. We have body boards for you to use at your leisure.
Ohope Heights is located up high amongst the Pohutukawa forest over-looking Ohope Beach, and the Central Ohope shops. It is a two minute walk to Cadera, a Mexican restaurant or to The Quay, a beachside cafe. Our favourite restaurant in Ohope is Fishermans Wharf Cafe, a 6.6 km drive and overlooking the Ohiwa Harbour. An amazing experience is a visit to White Island, we are only 5.7 km to Peejays, White island Tours. We are happy to book this for you. If you are into golf then the Ohope International Golf Course is a must. Walking Tracks such as Nga Tapuwae o Toi walkway is at our doorstep. These spectacular bush walkways are not to be missed. Also for the cyclist we have great cycle rides close by.
Tony is the current Mayor of the District so he can help you with information on anything you may want to know, and Linda is a Head of Department at Whakatane High School. They both love meeting people, and sharing a little of their paradise.
Ohope Heights is up one of the steepest driveways in Ohope. It is fine to drive up. Our advice is to select low gear and just simply drive up and park outside the garage of the middle light brown house at the top. You will see our sign Ohope Heights at the top as you approach Ohope Heights.
Extras: Linen (included); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave;

We really enjoyed the amazing view and the cozy apartment. The hosts are very welcoming and recommended some nice restaurants near by, especially Cadera which is really great and just 2 minutes on foot away! Very nice location, would love to come back!

What a view!
Beautiful stay with the best view of white and whale island. On the day the clarity was unreal so got to fully experience the beauty. Beds are comfortable with luxurious sheets and pillows that feel like a cloud.

Wonderfully appointed apartment with superb sea view
This two bedroom apartment is wonderfully set up, with many thoughtful touches added by the hosts. There is a also breath-taking ocean view. I recommend it highly to anyone wanting attractive, comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation in the Whakatane area.

Beautiful location
We had a lovely stay in this apartment. The hosts were friendly, hospitable and provided all we could want, including a fruit basket and coffee making needs. The only surprise was the very steep driveway. I would have found it difficult to navigate with my walking stick. But that aside, we had a glorious stay.

Spectacular veiws
Couldn't believe we found this place. We were in awe of the Veiw and the high standard of this accommodation. The beds are superb. Very clean and has everything you need for comfort. We were greeted by Tony, who is very accommodating and welcoming. We enjoyed the yummy Biscuits chocolates water and fruit. Thankyou for the lovely stay.

Great apartment, fantastic views. Very large, comfortable beds. Air con was great for sleeping comfortably. Fruit and biscuits available on arrival were delicious. Other little extras like bathroom supplies, bbq and UEboom were appreciated. Tony was very friendly and quick to respond if we needed anything. Loved our stay here. Thanks Tony & Linda.
