Restaurant letting good hotel down

"Hotel room was new and modern. Checkin staff were very efficient. Wifi worked well. Restaurant seemed underprepared for everything, however. I got dinner after a long wait but the restaurant had run out of gas for other patrons. At an early breakfast, they were already out of eggs and coffee and I waited again. This seems like a lovely hotel in a country setting with good facilities and views - it just needs better restaurant service. And if you do not eat red meat, get dinner in town instead - I did not have much choice."

"The accomodation was nice and comfortable and the food was good. The staff were friendly. Parking easy. However the cockeral started crowing at 2 am outside our door and it went through the night both nights so we did not really get much sleep during our stay. The cockeral spoilt it for us I'm afraid but if that does not bother you then its a nice hotel."

Naries Namakwa Retreat 2023, with friends

"Our stay at Naries Namakwa Retreat was excellent, it was a wonderful experience to stay in one of the Mountain suites. The staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. The meals are excellent. This will be I stay that I will always remember."
