"A very traditional Japanese hotel with thorough service, we had a very nice stay. Staff took care of swapping out the futon, alongside bus services to various parts of Kusatsu. The onsen was well maintained and also tattoo friendly!"

"The hotel is very nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and are quite big and well laid out. The views are ok, not extraordinary. Our room was on the 3rd floor and we still could not see any mountains but only roof tops of other surrounding buildings. There is free food and snacks available but only for a limited time. The dinner and breakfast was good but not great. The onsens are the highlight of this property."

"The location is excellent, minutes walk to restaurants, shopping, Yubatake and Sainokawara Park. The room was spotless and the staff was so helpful. The on-site onsen (female side) was boiling hot! The only minor inconvenience was that cars were parked offsite so you needed to coordinate with staff each time you needed your vehicle."

Private baths and onsens are available for a soak after a day out to explore. Breakfast is good too though the timings of breakfast are a tad early but best way to start the day ! :)"
